Reports confirm that Michael Jackson has died due to full cardiac arrest. He was 50 years old. A crowd is already gathering outside UCLA Medical Center, including many members from the press.
Jackson was rushed to hospital just around 12:20 pm. He was found by paramedics unconscious and not breathing at his home. He fell into a coma after attempts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 pm.
An investigation has began by LAPD to see if foul-play was involved. It’s been reported that police plan to interview relatives and friends of the pop star as well as get his medical records to put the pieces together and find out what happened.
“The call came in because a person was not breathing,” says a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Fire Department, who declined to ID the singer by name.
“When the team arrived, they saw that CPR was already in progress by someone at the home. The person not breathing was transported to UCLA Medical Center and remains there.”
Michael Jackson’s official site remains up, but the landing page is only a photo of the singing star with no navigation.
Jackson leaves behind two children from his 1996 marriage with Debbie Rowe; Paris Katherine, age nine, and Prince Jackson, age ten.

I literally cannot tell you how big of a fan of Michael Jackson I was as a very, very little kid. I mean, I have a piece of a coat he wore (really). He hasn’t been that same MJ for years, but I’m still reeling from the shock. Feels surreal. I’m just completely at a loss.
