It was the GOP, who made damned sure that any meaningful options got pulled from any bill by running astroturf campaigns to scare the crap out of the uninformed. And it worked. When I clicked this link from reddit.com there was an ad opposing a public option for health care right next to the video of Mr. Moyers . The ad says HANDS OFF MY HEALTHCARE. And STOP GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE. The ad is "paid for by Patients First a project of Americans for Prosperity." Who runs that?
