A veteran journalist, Leigh Ann has hosted and reported live for Pacifica Radio programs such as the Senate confirmation hearings of Sonia Sotomayor; the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections; President Obama’s inauguration; as well as on the ground coverage from New Orleans on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. During her time in Washington, she has interviewed well-known political figures including President Bill Clinton and presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Before joining Pacifica, Leigh Ann was a freelance radio and print journalist living in New York City where she reported for outlets such as Radio France International and Pilates Style magazine.

Bernal, as well as News Editors Ole Ole Olson and Amy Beth Arkawy.
