He said the functionally disabled residents tended to be rather helpful towards each other, assisting each other in getting through day-to-day trials and tribulations... I imagine the employees and managers at FoxNews functioning the same way--and accordingly, they're assisting Palin in the ways they can, good Americans that they are.... It's interesting to note, too, that the birth of the "asylum" was historically connected to the influence of the Age of Reason; prior to this time, in the Middle Ages, mysticism was revered, and the mentally ill were often seen as being mystics, themselves--their ravings being manifestations of the Divine, Himself. But when "Reason" became the law of the land, so to speak, the "mad" were sheltered away together in institutions, dividing those capable of reason from the sufferers of insanity and delusion.... And therein lies another similarity between FoxNews and mental illness; Fox is beginning to slowly separate the insane from the reasonable, by becoming a shelter for the mentally ill.
