Martin Luther King, Jr’s final speech–given two days before his assassination–was eloquent, defiant, inspiring and prophetic. While his rhetoric hints at a man who senses his remaining earthly days are few, his spirit is fearless. His words, his presence are as inspiring almost 42 years later. Martin Luther King Jr’s legacy–his strength, his love, his call to civil action– are as vital today.
