oH YEAH? how is how? do you speak for everyone or what? I really hate it when people make assertions which are not true. Legal or Illegal, they are still immigrants – aren’t they? It is like saying.. there this blue car and that red car… and they both are cars! … so obvious you are calling people for distinctions that aren’t really specific, but you want them to be. I just want the problem to be solved and that’s it! that is why we need comprehensive immigration reform, and I then the borders sealed if possible. The point is to deal with the problem, and not try to cover up the solutions with more rhetoric and hatred

I don’t think that is how it works. We need to enforce our borders and deal with those here, because like or not they ain’t going no where unless you come up with some better plan like… deport 12 million people.. and try to re-write history, which has told us over the years all the grief toward immigrants like Italians and Irish in the past.

I couldn’t agree more. I think in the long run the world tends to have a good turn out — as what happened to the Italians and the Irish years ago. Is in the short run that some politicians leech the juice our of the issues for political gains

I agree 100% on that, but I think we also need comprehensive immigration reform. It is not about what could have been done, or what has been happening, its about our next step as a nation and actually fix the problem and not just point fingers which helps no one, it only satisfies the ultra Eggo of some people

I think you are missing the whole point, the immigrations system is broken and it needs fixing. It might not be the people itself, it might be the system is outdated, and everyone agrees on that.

Something that was done many decades ago, needs to adjust to the future generations not other wise – which is actually how it is intended as is and — its not working.

Some good points in this article, but many “independents” oppose amnesty for illegal alien, as do some democrats. It’s not just Republicans. As an independent, I support most of the immigration enforcement laws passed in AZ and I’m trying get get the same thing done in my state.

I don’t hate of even blame the illegal aliens. I blame the employers for exploting them. Immigration builds up this nation. Illegal immigration doesn’t.
