VIDEO: Behar Blasts Angle (And Gets a Bouquet)

Joy Behar is on a roll. First, she stirred up two weeks of controversy by walking off the set of “The View” with co-host Whoopi Goldberg following Bill O’Reilly’s insensitive broad brush indictment of Muslims, and now she’s gone after Sharron Angle, the Nevada Tea Bag lady looking to oust Majority leader Harry Reid out of his Senate seat.

While Joy serves up the volatile language, calling Angle both a “moron” and a “bitch” on Tuesday’s edition of “The View,” resident Republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck may have gained more cred by ditching party loyalty and calling out Angle on her overtly racist ad.

Angle, she of the cray-cray campaign that along with blatantly racist ads also includes everything from promoting Scientology to insisting pregnant rape and incest victims have their babies because “it’s God’s will,” sent Joy a lavish floral bouquet on Wednesday. The note read: “Thanks to you, Joy, I raised over $150,000 on line yesterday!”

This sent Joy into another entertaining spasm, during which she pledged $5000 in Angle’s name to God’s love We Deliver, a New York based charity that provides food for Aids patients. Both Whoopi and Barbara pledged the same amount.

Kinda wish Joy was running. But it would be cruel to subject her to the do nothing slog of Washington politics. On the other hand, if Angle and O’Donnell win, it would be fun to see her skewer them from the Senate floor.
