One Response to The Ultimate List Of What The GOP Fights For

  1. Vote -1 Vote +1William Harris

Who in their right mind who is earning the lower end of what middle class or all poor people earn or take home in net pay, either working or retired or disabled would vote for any Republican? I made a mistake and voted for Reagan for his first term and knew I made a big mistake when he lowered rich peoples taxes and raised everyone else’s taxes. That started the bigger gap between the rich and poor’s income. Clinton raised the rich peoples taxes and went from the Federal Government having a deficit in the budget to steady decreasing the deficit and into a surplus by the time he was out of office. Now look what lowering taxes of the Bush terms and now Obama also gave the rich another tax cut that only resulted in more rich corporations outsourcing more jobs and very few jobs being created here. Did the continued tax cuts reduce the deficit? President Obama and the Democrat Congress screwed up in 2009 by not starting a jobs creation situation like Eisenhower created. His was the massive interstate highway system that is in all the States. There were many projects somewhat like that one that could have put millions of people to work. Many green energy jobs is just one. Closing many of the overseas military bases and reopening some of the closed U.S. military bases could have created many U.S. jobs. U.S. military bases in the U.S. create jobs on bases and all around the bases. There were many U.S. bases in the United States during Eisenhower’s time as President. This Republican was more Left Wing than the last few Presidents.
