Now there is serious talk about running Paul Ryan on the 2012 GOP Presidential ticket. And the Tea Party’s chief brewer of babble Dick Armey says he doesn’t need Medicare. So why fix it when we can continue subsidizing oil companies and keep the richest one percent’s taxes at their lowest level?
I think it is the way it always has been but worse–the rich get richer and protect other rich people. The older generation, the Vets who have served our country, the poor who are working hard to stay afloat, the middle class who work hard to have a better life–are all not important to this small percentage of people who live in excess. How they can continue to turn a blind eye and do it without guilt is beyond me. However, someday they we have to pay for their selfishness.
