It appears that U.S. and other international efforts to reinstate Honduran President Manuel Zelaya, may not be going as well as some people expected. Despite calls for Zelaya’s reinstatement, the Honduran government is not budging. Nevertheless, Hondurans have taken to streets calling for their deposed president to come back.

The disgrace financier Madoff will be sentenced today, in a New-York court.

He is charged with a $ 50 Billion Ponzi scheme. It is arguably the biggest swindle in US history.

Last March, Madoff pleaded guilty, he could be sentenced for as much as 150 years.
