California ACLU Endorses Pot Legalization Measure

The California affiliates of the American Civil Liberties Union announced Friday their endorsement of Proposition 19, the initiative on the November 2010 ballot to allow state regulation and taxation of marijuana.

Tea Party Shows Its True ‘Coloreds’

The letter speaks for itself, including innuendos of ‘colored’ people’s laziness and entitlement, and the mention of an ‘Uncle Tom’ related to Mr. Jealous. This is the Party of Rand Paul, Sarah Palin, and Sharron angle. This is the ‘movement embraced by the Republican Party that they herald as the voice of ‘real Americans.’ If this letter is an example of the America they envision, let them know that you’ve seen their true ‘coloreds’, and that real Americans will not tolerate their ignorance, hatred and bias.

Sharron Angle, The Constitution Party, And The New Religious Right

The productive and necessary views and desires of non-religious libertarians and conservatives have been silenced in favour of the media friendly, accidentally-comic hyperbole of the entertainingly ridiculous rhetoric of Angle, Palin, Paul, Beck, et al. To allow a platform to be usurped by delusional religious fundamentalists with a counter-constitutional agenda is a threat to freedom, the Constitution, and the rights of all Americans.
