Helen Thomas: No Apologies Necessary

Helen’s opinions were apparently wrong simply because they didn’t reflect the opinion of the majority. There was no hate speech, just an opinion about a nations foreign policy. Unfortunately, it did not agree with the majority, or, according to Gibbs, the administration. Therefore, a valuable, veteran, White House journalist of nearly sixty years and ten presidents, must be resigned and have her name smeared.

Islam: Relax, It’s Just A Religion

Drawing Muhammad was a peaceful protest against the threats, violence, and murder of those who have expressed their ideas peacefully. A violent reaction to a peaceful expression is not appropriate. A violent reaction to a peaceful protest, about a violent reaction to a peaceful expression, is absolutely ridiculous.

Oil Spill: BP’s Crimes And Obama’s Lack Of Leadership

British Petroleum has committed a crime of monstrous proportions against this planet, our ecosystem, our seabirds, our marine life, our wildlife, and humankind. They must be made to pay, both through our politicians and through our direct action. Organize; Boycott British Petroleum, and all of its subsidiaries and products, and take a stand against any further exploitation by Big Oil, Big Finance, Big Business and the politicians that profit from them and enable them.

Draw Muhammad Day: Censorship, Sabotage, Threats & Murder

Draw Muhammad Day is not an assault on Islam or Muslims, and certainly not on Arab people of any nation. The protest is in defense of individual freedom of expression. Freedom cannot be allowed to erode by the giving of ground in the face of an irrational and tyrannical assault. In the name of freedom of expression; pick up a pen, pencil or crayon and draw your best Muhammad whether it be a portrait or a stick figure.
