U.S. Army Releases June Suicide Data

Today, the US Army released suicide data for the month of June. Among active-duty soldiers there were no confirmed suicides and 9 potential ones. In May, the Army reported 1 confirmed suicide and 16 potential suicides. Since that time, 7 have been confirmed and 9 remain under investigation.

This is the leading indicator for the US real estate market. It shows that although still negative, the annual decline of the 10-City & the 20-City composites improved.

The disgrace financier Madoff will be sentenced today, in a New-York court.

He is charged with a $ 50 Billion Ponzi scheme. It is arguably the biggest swindle in US history.
