Tonight’s ceremony is hosted by comedian Steve Martin and actor Alec Baldwin, who began their dialog by poking fun of Meryl Streep for being the actress with the most Oscar nominations in the Academy’s history.

“That also means the most losses,” Martin said as Streep, and the rest of the crowd laughed.
