The biggest rally by Mousavi’s supporters in days, took place in Tehran today.
Various sources including NPR, AP and Al Jazeera confirmed that as many as 3,000 protesters gathered outside the Ghoba Mosque in Tehran.
Some protesters described (via Twitter) an “undiscriminated assault by about 500 riot police and militia.” The police cracked down on the rally using tear gas & batons, after the protesters started shouting: “Where is my vote?”
This was, by far, the largest rally in about 5 days. It is a sign that the protest movement is still alive, despite the government’s brutal crack down.
