Radio Interview: NJP’s Gilbert Mercier On The Patriot Act

On October 8, NEWS JUNKIE POST’s Co-Editor-in-Chief Gilbert Mercier was interviewed on Radio Islam 1450 AM in Chicago about the Patriot Act. In the interview he talks about how the legislation has been detrimental to the country by unfairly targeting ordinary American citizens. He also talks about efforts in the US Senate to introduce legislation that would make the Patriot Act more just and fair.
Although the Patriot Act was renewed by the Senate Judiciary Committee without any modifications shortly after this radio interview, the House of Representatives is moving towards limiting the legislation soon.
